The last time I visited Hanging Rock State park I arrived at the parking area for Lower Cascade Falls very early and didn't see any sign of anyone else around all the way to the falls.  I was setting up for my first shot when I felt something bump up against me from behind.  Thankfully it wasn't any dangerous animal, just a friendly overgrown puppy who wanted to play.  Later when I was setting up another shot he came up to me with a carrying in his mouth a lens pouch full of filters that he swiped from my pack.  I took it back and zipped it up in my pack and was setting up the shot again when I heard a strange noise and turned to see him dragging away the entire pack.  He kept getting in the way of my shots, but wouldn't sit still long enough for me to get a shot of him until I had finished and repacked all my equipment.  Then I looked up to see him settled in for a nap, so I quietly slipped my camera out of the pack and took this shot handheld.  Then I headed back to the car and he followed all the way.  By then another car had arrived and he made a new friend to follow back to the falls.
